Rome and family houseboat vacation on Rideau Canal in Canada), special events (Mardi Grad in Vera Cruz Mexico, 4th of July in Boston, Rose Bowl in Pasadena), and the no-brainer vacation (Dominica Republic and Cuba)

Co-founder, charter member, and trustee of Mexico Historical Society; co-founder, charter member, and trustee of Mexico Point Park and Friends of Mexico Point Park; and various other volunteer work including Girl Scouts and United Way
